The Constitutional Showdown
Sharia claims divine supremacy over all human law. The Quran cannot be the supreme law of the land. Here is how Muhammad's doctrine directly violates the United States Constitution.
First Amendment
Sharia mandates death for blasphemy and apostasy. The First Amendment guarantees free speech and free exercise of religion. Any law that punishes criticism of a religious figure is unconstitutional. Muhammad personally ordered the assassination of poets and critics. The Constitution protects the right to criticize him.
Fourteenth Amendment
Sharia institutionalizes second-class status for women and non-Muslims. Testimony of a woman is worth half that of a man. Non-Muslims pay the jizya subjugation tax. The Equal Protection Clause forbids any state from denying any person equal protection of the laws.
Eighth Amendment
Sharia prescribes stoning, amputation, flogging, and crucifixion as criminal punishments. The Eighth Amendment prohibits cruel and unusual punishment. America rejected these punishments in 1791. Muhammad's law demands them in 2026.
Supremacy Clause
Sharia claims divine authority that supersedes all man-made law. Article VI of the Constitution declares the Constitution the supreme law of the land. There is no higher authority in American jurisprudence than the Constitution of the United States. Not the Quran. Not the Hadith. Not any foreign religious text.
Muhammad: The Man Behind the Law
Sharia is not divine. It was built by one man whose personal actions became binding law for over a billion people. His biography is the foundation of the legal system that threatens the Constitution.
Warlord Career
Muhammad personally led 27 military campaigns. He ordered the beheading of 600-900 Jewish men of the Banu Qurayza tribe in a single day. His military conquests spread by the sword, not by persuasion. This is recorded in the earliest Islamic sources — Ibn Ishaq, al-Tabari, and the Hadith collections.
Assassinations of Critics
Muhammad personally ordered the assassination of poets and critics who mocked him — including Asma bint Marwan, Abu Afak, and Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf. This precedent is the theological basis for modern blasphemy laws and fatwas calling for the death of cartoonists, novelists, and critics. The Constitution protects the right to criticize him.
Marriage to a 6-Year-Old
Per Sahih al-Bukhari (the most authoritative Hadith collection), Muhammad married Aisha when she was six and consummated the marriage when she was nine. This is not disputed by Islamic scholarship. In the United States, this is child rape. No religious figure who engaged in such conduct can be held as a moral exemplar for American law.
Sex Slaves and Concubines
Muhammad owned sex slaves, including Safiyya bint Huyayy (whose husband he had killed that same day) and Mariyah al-Qibtiyya. The Quran explicitly permits sexual relations with "what your right hand possesses" (Quran 4:24, 23:5-6, 33:50). This is sexual slavery codified as divine revelation.

We reject the totalitarian political ideology of Muhammad that seeks to replace our Constitution with 7th-century Arabian law.

House Judiciary "Sharia-Free America" Hearing
In February 2026, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee held a historic hearing titled "Sharia-Free America: Protecting Constitutional Supremacy."
